Upstate New York Tattoo Artist Wins ‘Ink Master’

An Upstate New York tattoo artist has been crowned champion of season 12 of 'Ink Master'

Josh Payne, a tattoo artist that can be regularly found working out of Ascend Gallery in Cortland, has scored him self the title of 'Ink Master' and a cool $100,000!

On season 10 of Spike TV's 'Ink Master' Cortland's Josh Payne had to compete against 23 other contestants for the title, the cash and a featured story in Inked Magazine. In the end it  came down to just two. Josh was challenged with the task of creating a large battle royale chest tattoo in only twenty four hours. The piece came out striking.
