The NFL schedules were released finally last night at 8 p.m.  The New York Giants don't exactly have an easy schedule.  This is a massive year for the Giants organization as well.  It will be the first year under the Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll regime and I am intrigued by what their previous chemistry in Buffalo will bring to New York.  Daniel Jones has to perform at a relatively high level given the weapons around him.  Realistically, I see the Giants going around 6-11.  I hope they turn things around in 2022.  Here is my quick take on this from the Times Union:

We will learn about the Giants very early on in the upcoming season. They play Tennessee, Dallas and Green Bay in the first five weeks of the season. The Titans will be a tough road game to open the season and the Packers game is in London. They need a win over the Cowboys in week 3 at MetLife Stadium. Philadelphia is going to be much improved and Washington got better through the draft. So did the Giants, and they need immediate impact from their top picks. And yes, it goes without staying, quarterback Daniel Jones needs to stay healthy and get off to a good start.

MJ and I had on Pat Leonard, Giants beat writer from the New York Daily News, with us earlier this morning.  Pat doesn't see the Giants winning many games unfortunately.  Below is our full interview with him.

I want to see the Giants succeed so badly in 2022 but it won't be easy with this difficult schedule.  Maybe things will change as we get closer to September.
