Albany Joins The Marvel Universe In "Black Widow"

Wait, was that Albany I just saw in the new "Black Widow" movie staring Scarlett Johansson? Only by name, none of the actual movie was filmed here in the Capital Region.

I don't think I saw anything in the trailer that looks like it could pass for Albany, so I guess we'll have to wait for the movie to come out next year.

According to an article at www.wnyt.com the scenes that are supposed to be Albany, NY were actually filmed in Macon, GA. Emergency vehicles with Albany Police and Albany Sheriff logos were on-set during the filming.

"Black Widow" opens in theaters on May 1, 2020.
