Area Grocery Store Recalling Ice Cream Bars

Have some ice cream bars in your freezer for a middle of the night snack? Are they store brand from Price Chopper? Here is what you need to know.

Price Chopper has issued a recall of their PICS Fudge Bars after the treat has come back testing positive for listeria. The ones effected are the 30 ounce variety of them. As with most recalls, this one is no different and is voluntary. The bars are manufactured by Fieldbrook Food Corporation and can be found all over the Capital Region in Price Chopper and Market 32 locations.

If you in fact have a box of these fudge bars in your freezer, just be careful. Look for a certain UPC code, UPC 41735 09250. If you PICS Fudge Bars labelled with that. Either throw them away or bring them back to the store for a refund.
