Capital Region Man Assaulted With Grass Trimmer
A Corinth, NY man has been arrested and charged with assaulting a relative with grass trimmer.
According to The Saratogian, 38 year old Brian Wade of Corinth was arrested following an investigation of a Sept. 2 domestic incident that involved Wade striking an adult male relative with a grass trimmer. The victim received serious injuries to his face and his cell phone was also broken according to deputies. Wade had initially fled the scene and was picked up on an arrest warrant Sept. 3 and taken to Saratoga County Jail on in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond. No further information was available as to how the victim is doing, and what the relationship was to Wade. Wade was charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor which included second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, and fourth-degree criminal criminal possession of a weapon (the grass trimmer).
