Catch Metallica Tonight in Albany on the Big Screen

Attention attention! Wednesday just got a whole lot more awesome, because tonight you can catch Metallica perform -on the big screen- right here in the Capital Region.

Metallica: S&M2 is coming to select theaters here in the Capital Region.  There are two showings tonight at Crossgates Mall, and in case you miss them, you can also catch a matinee Sunday, the 13th at The Crossgates Regal.  Also, there is a showing tonight at Proctors in Schenectady that is sold out, but they also added a Sunday show with tickets available.  You can get the info and buy tickets here.

The showing itself is a performance by Metallica with the San Francisco Symphony.  The performances were recorded live to be shows on the big screen, and serve as a 20th anniversary celebration of the original S&M (you can get more info from the official Metallica announcement here.  I’ve got my ticket already, hopefully you get yours before they sell out!
