Remember last year when the kid got in trouble for running a lemonade stand by a fair? Well, that may never happen again for any kid.

I recalled thinking when I read about 7-year-old Brendan Mulvaney, why? Looking into it I get it though, still not cool. Kids have been doing lemonade stands for so long, and its a cool way for a kid to make money. It teaches them that effort is needed to pull in cash. A great lesson at a young age.

Well after this all went down it didn't take long for Governor Andrew Cuomo to step in. Love him or hate him, what Cuomo has done is a cool thing. The Governor has introduced a bill that will allow anybody under the age of 16 to be exempt from permits for a lemonade stand.

More on the bill that was introduced is linked here from NYUP.
