Cuomo Tells All Non-Essential Employees In New York To Stay Home
It was announced this morning that Governor Cuomo was shutting down all personal care businesses like hair salons, barbershops, nail salons, and tattoo parlors. That order goes into effect at 8 pm Saturday, March 21st.
In addition, the governor announced that 100% of all non-essential workers need to stay home. Yesterday the governor asked that 75% of the non-essential workforce stay home, but the increased Covid-19 cases in New York made him change it to 100%. If you can work from home, that's fine.
In addition, all non-essential gatherings of individuals of any size, for any reason are canceled or postponed.
The executive order will go into effect Sunday.
