Ever look at your check from a diner before you pay it? A group of 3 girls did while eating at and got a bit of a shock. The receipt referred to them as "Fat Girls" and to say they are just a irate is an understatement.

After finishing their meal, Christine Duran got her check and saw the "Fat Girls" reference.  She told her fellow diners and friends, who didn't believe her until she showed them.

The waiter returned to take their money but was questioned about the comment. He denied any wrongdoing. He claimed that an employee by the name of "Jeff", who also appears on the bill, must have typed that in to keep track of their check.

They asked for a manager and when he came over, the women say he tried to explain the check as well but almost couldn't keep a straight face. He offered them a 25, then 50% discount on their meal - The three friends didn't accept the offers.

The resturuant did apologize on Facebook over the weekend:

"I completely understand why they were hurt by what was written on their receipt and that type of treatment isn't tolerated. Also there will be no tolerance in the future, guaranteed. Everyone is welcome in our establishment, my family built this business so that the community of Stockton would have a safe and fun place to hang out and come together. My hope is to heal our newly tarnished reputation so that everyone feels safe and welcome again. And if these ladies would like to meet with my family and I, so that we can personally apologize, we would really like to do that, because we do not want anyone to have an experience like this."
