Flood Warning Remains in Effect for Schenectady
The Daily Gazette reports that more potential thawing could occur this weekend due to temps getting up to above 35 Friday into the upper 40's for Sunday. As of now the flood warning is in effect til 9am Wednesday but that could change. Flooding issues occured over the weekend in the Stockade district of the city causing several road closures. Meteorologist John Quinlan said that it's too early to say whether there will be more flooding all depending on if we get more rain. "If we rain early next week, it may further exacerbate problems," he said.
So take it easy and be mindful for possible flooding throughout the area the rest of this week into the weekend. Be safe out there.
