In one case the suspect is accused of stealing a wallet while shopping at a local Walmart. In the second case the young suspect is accused of stealing items from a local sporting goods store. Here's what we know so far.

Case Number NY2500972131 - On Saturday October 4, 2025 surveillance footage captured a male suspect removing a wallet from a victim’s shopping cart and concealing it in his sweatshirt. The suspect then exited the store accompanied by a female and a child. The couple entered a white vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban (pictured below), and fled the scene.

This incident took place at the Walmart on US-11 in the town of LeRay, New York in Jefferson County. Anyone with information or who may recognize the individual pictured below is asked to contact New York State Police at 315-366-6000.

Case Number NY2500988826 - On Wednesday October 8, 2025 a male suspect was captured on surveillance footage allegedly stealing approximately $510.00 worth of merchandise from tSneaker Ace, located inside the Salmon Run Mall in the town of Watertown, New York in Jefferson County.

This suspect (pictured below) is described as a Hispanic male, wearing a black shirt, brown pants, and white sneakers. He has black hair and appears to have multiple tattoos on both arms, with possible tattoos on his neck. Anyone who may recognize the individual or has information regarding the incident is asked to contact the New York State Police at 315- 366-6000.
