Joe Torre to Speak at Capital Region College Graduation

Yankees fans, you can catch the legendary former manager coming to the Capital Region this Spring!  All you need to do is head to a college graduation.

Honestly, I'm not graduating college but I'd totally go hang just to catch a speech by Joe Torre.  As someone who grew up watching Yankees games round the clock with my dad- or catching them on the radio if not on television- Joe Torre was one of the heroes of my childhood (along with Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams, Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill, and more).

This Spring, Joe Torre will be speaking at Skidmore's graduation.  According to cbs 6 Albany, he will be speaking on May 18th at the graduation, as well as getting an honorary degree.
