Get ready to enjoy some winter fun by getting out and warming up at the 21st Annual Saratoga Chowderfest.

Winter in the Capital Region doesn't mean that you have to stay cooped up indoors. At this point we've pretty much got this winter thing nailed down complete with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. In fact for 21 years the Annual Chowderfest has been going on in downtown Saratoga.

This year over 80 vendors are expected to participate and serve up warm and filling chowders fr just a $1 a sample and you even get to VOTE for your favorites! This years Chowderfest gets underway Saturday, February 2nd and goes on from 11am to 4pm.

Bring the whole family out for great food, music, and entertainment! It's totally FREE to attend and at just $1 a sample your bellies will be full of a variety of different chowders without breaking the bank!

Simply grab a ballot at any of the over 80 participating vendors to vote as you sample and turn it into the Saratoga Springs City Center or Visitor Center or you can even vote online at DisscoverSaratoga.org/VOTE before 5pm .

If you have ever been to the Saratoga Chowderfest before you will be happy to know that free park & ride shuttles will be running from the Wilton Mall and from the Saratoga Casino Hotel into downtown Saratoga between 10 AM- 6 PM so you don't have to do a million laps looking for a spot.

They have already begun announcing a few of this years participating vendors some along with the piping hot chowders they pan on serving up. Over the upcoming weeks that list will continue to get bigger and bigger but so far I'm looking forward to The Rusty Nail's Korean Filet Mignon Chowder and the Mill on Round Lake's Smoked Gouda Gnocchi Sausage Chowder! You can find the full list of participating vendors, lodging specials, shuttle times, and a live music and event schedule by clicking HERE.

Look for the Q crew hanging out just outside the Saratoga City Center at 522 Broadway to get down with some rock and roll and maybe get hooked up with some sweet Q swag!
