Large Mysterious Animal Seen on Trail Cam in Rensselaer County

A woman decided to check the trail camera she had aimed toward her driveway and discovered an animal on it that was very, very startling.

What appears to be a mountain lion or cougar was captured on the camera, which is a bit shocking to anyone, especially when there are kids in the house that walk up the very driveway. I am a bit skeptical myself as to if it is indeed a cougar. I mean, in the photo, which is in the video above, it looks like it could just be a dog.

However the neighbor in Poestenkill who has chickens has seen some of them go missing also his cats too. A bit frightening. Obviously, if you live in this area of Rensselaer County keep an eye out and notify someone quickly if you see it.
