You’re missing out if you haven’t been watching The Voice. Yes, it’s similar to American Idol, but it has some very different twists and all in all is a much cooler show if you ask me.

There were some fantastic performances last night except for that stupid Pitbull guy and his dumb ass friend Ne-Yo (God do I hate rap). The only other thing that was a little weird was the opening performance that featured the coaches of The Voice: Cee Lo, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. I thought it was cool to see them all sing together, and they chose a fantastic song with Queen’s ‘Under Pressure’, but the truth is that none of their voices go good together. I mean nobody complimented anyone else’s voice at all. Oh well, you can’t win them all.

So tonight we find out who will win 100,000 cash and a record contract between Javier Colon (who is clearly the favorite as he has the best voice of anyone on the show including the judges), Beverly McClennen (even her name sounds like a lesbian doesn’t it?), Dia Frampton (who is just a doll) and Vicci Martinez who I hear is also a lesbian, but at least she looks like she might give some of us guys a sporting chance.

When it came down to it, I think my man Cee-Lo and Vicci Martinez stole the show last night with their performance of Pat Benatar’s ‘Love is a Battlefield.’ I love my classic rock, but from working at a classic rock station early in my career, there are 4 artists that I never ever need to hear again being Styx, Foreigner, Heart and Pat Benatar. But the whole show and performance of the song really made me enjoy it.
