If you're like me, you've kind of gotten sick of watching the news lately.  But it doesn't always have to be bad!

I love this story and had to share it.  With the cold weather coming up, and the holidays,  it's the time of year with clothing drives and toy drives and food drives.  There are some real chances to do good in the Capital Region.

In a serious nature of doing good recently, a man bought and donated $1000 worth of coats.  News 10 abc hosting a "Coats for Kids" coat drive, and a Ballston Spa man stepped up to the challenge.  According to News 10 abc, Dan Piper of Ballston Spa set out with a goal, and made sure to buy enough coats to reach the $1000 mark.  In what can be a difficult time and season for many, these acts of kindness can truly inspire.

If you're interested in other ways to help, you can stop by November 23rd to help out at Q1057's "Turkey Drive".  Teaming up with the Salvation Army, we'll be at Market 32 in Mohawk Commons from 8am-noon collecting frozen turkeys.
