Man Arrested For Barking At Police Dog
Of course this story comes from my home state of Ohio. Then again, I'm used to stupidity from my fellow Ohioans - It's nothing new and if you are from there, you know what I mean.
Coming straight outta Kettering, a 22-year-old was arrested for doing the most gangster thing he could think to do - bark at a police dog and because there is nothing better to do in Kettering, he was arrested.
Cameron Dunn was cuffed in the backseat of a police cruiser as a K-9 unit was called in to check for drugs in his car.
When Cameron saw the dog arrive he began to hit the cruiser window and bark at the dog. His attempts to distract the dog were in vein. He was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of assaulting or harassing a police dog. (Wait, they have a law that states "harassing a police dog" is against the law and it's worded with assaulting - How is that fair?)
Oh yeah, and tack on one more charge of drug possession as the dog found marijuana seed in the car.
He is scheduled to appear in court next week. Wonder if they will call the dog in as a witness?
