In 2014 Motley Crue embarked on their "final tour.' Flashforward to 2025 and Motley Crue is still touring, having blown up that contract claiming that they were done with live performances.

The Crue have officially announced a 2026 tour. They will be joined by Tesla and Extreme and hit Saratoga Springs July 29th. Be there or be square. I've seen the Crue perform at SPAC at least four times. The first being the first Carnival of Sins tour, then two Crue Fests, and the "final tour."

If you happened to miss that final tour when it came to SPAC a decade ago you can watch them perform "Shout at the Devil" below.

Of all of the songs that Motley Crue does live I think that "Shout at the Devil" is probably my favorite. The pyro that happens, the riff is amazing (looking forward to seeing John 5 do it) and the crowd participation is always top notch.

It's always fun to see old performances from bands in familiar places. In my quest to head down memory lane now that we know Motley Crue is coming back to SPAC, here's another great video I found of them on the performing at SPAC in 2000 on the New Tattoo tour. That one is famous because they didn't have Timmy Lee with them, but this live version of "Knock Em Dead, Kid" sounds incredible.

My only hope when it comes to this 2026 tour is that Vince sounds good and is in good health. As a matter of fact, I'd rather just be sure that he's in good health over the other thing because that's honestly more important.

Enjoy the performance videos, and we will see you all at SPAC in July!
