New York Casting Call for Local Band! How Would You Like To Be In a Movie Filmed In Hudson Valley?

Lights, camera action! Upstate New York is famous for many things including famous people. So many celebrities have been born and continue to live in the Empire State, see full list below. New York is also known to be the home for several film projects each year.

This is your chance to be involved in the movie making business. There are a couple of casting calls taking place in the Hudson Valley and either you, your band or maybe even your house will be the perfect fit. This is what producers are looking for.

The Hudson Valley Film Commission recently put the word out, via their Facebook page, of 2 different opportunities with upcoming projects. Movie makers are looking for local bands and another is looking for a house.

Are you in a band? Do you have friends or a connection to local bands? Movie makers are searching for a Country band quartet that will be available on Thursday May 16, 2024. The selected band won't have to play but will need to set up and get ready as if you were playing. Send band photo to Amy Hutchings at amyhutchingscasting@gmail.com.

The second project is less of a "casting call" and more of housing for cast and crew. Producers are in need of a place to house up to 5 individuals from May 25th until May 26th.
