Let's take a look at the suspects charges starting with Grand Larceny in the 2nd Degree. According to attorney Stephen Bilkis & Associates, New York Penal 155.40 states that you have committed this crime if you steal property valued at $50,000 or more, you have extorted the property by threatening to harm the victim or that you would damage property.

As for Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, attorney Scott J. Limmer describes New York Penal 155.30 as lengthy. Generally speaking this states that you have committed this crime if you've stolen property, such as credit cards, or firearms, valued between $1,000 and $3,000.
