New York’s Top Christmas Candy

Spoiler alert- it's NOT actually a lollipop with a scorpion in it.  According to a post by Candystore.com, New Yorkers love Skittles the most!  A huge survey of over 50,000 consumers was done by Candystore.com to figure out just what each state loves the most.  And for New York, the top three are:

1- Skittles

2- Candy Canes

3- Pez

Pez?!  Really New York?  Is Pez even a candy? I mean, the little tablets are, but it's really more of a toy (in fact- I posted about PEZ being nominated for the National Toy Hall of Fame months ago).  What about Hershey kisses and Reese's trees!  I did do a little survey of my own on the Q103 Facebook Page, and here are some of your top answers:

1- "My homemade buckeyes": ok Rachel, those looked AMAZING.  Also someone else commented "Peanut Butter Balls" so I'm lumping those in with buckeyes

2- Cookies:  we got Snickerdoodles and Linzer Tart cookies as responses

3- Ribbon Candy:  A few of you commented about ribbon candy, enough to make the top 3!
