Satoru Iwata was Nintendo's CEO from 2002-2015, the man was responsible for saving Nintendo and introducing the motion controller with the Nintendo Wii, which saved Nintendo in the early 2000's and to some degree re-invented the way we play video games.

Satoru Iwata did not just make the Nintendo corporation happy with the success of the Nintendo Wii, he made the world happy, the Nintendo Wii brought people together.

When the Nintendo Wii first came out, I remember entire families coming together to play Wii Sports together.

The Nintendo Wii was considered to be a gamble, and Satoru Iwata won big.

Satoru Iwats is credited in being the visionary behind some of the most stressful game titles, such as Pokemon, Kirby, Super Mario and so many more.
