Dominick Lombardi apparently felt the need to tell the truth in his drunken state, as the 43-year-old drove to the NYS Police Brunswick barracks to turn himself in for violating an order of protection.

The Pattersonville man drove himself nearly 60 minutes to the Brunswick police station and was given a field sobriety test upon his arrival; which he failed. His BAC was 0.23, three times over the legal limit.

As of Monday, Lombardi was arraigned on charges of second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated DWI. He was released on $300 bond.
