Slash Turns 50 Today (Video)

Someone must of lost a bet, because today is Slash's 50th birthday and although Slash is 3 years younger then his former bandmate Axl Rose, Slash has aged like a fine wine by comparison.   

Some celebrities are timeless and I feel that Slash is one of them, because Slash turning 50 does not make me feel old, it makes me want to age like Slash.

Slash is in a special class of celebrity like: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Steven Tyler and Christopher Walken.

Axl Rose, unfortunately aged more like: Lex Luger, John Travolta, Chevy Chase and Kirstie Alley.

That analogy is not so much based on looks alone, but looks, likability and productivity. In that case I guess I should throw Adam Sandler in the same category as Axl.

Today is not about Axl though, but don't tell Axl that, today is about Slash!

Slash is still rocking hard and looking good while doing it at 50 years of age, and I can't think of a better way for Q103 to celebrate Slash's birthday then saying "Remember the time Flounder interviewed Slash?"
