Paul Rudd may have been born  in New Jersey but, in recent years, the actor has adopted Rhinebeck, New York as his hometown. On one hand it wouldn't be a major surprise to see the Rudd family in town. On the other hand it would be pretty exciting.

You had the chance to bump into the star on Saturday June 13th as Rudd attended a screening of his latest film 'Power Ballad' at Upstate Films' Star Theater, 6415 Montgomery Street, in Rhinebeck. Take a look at the pictures below.

The film 'Power Ballad' was released at the end of May. This feel-good musical follows a washed-up musician, played by Rudd, who crosses paths with a very famous rockstar played by Nick Jonas.

Nick Jonas and his brothers have also been known to spend time in the Hudson Valley, specifically the village of Rhinebeck. Around the Holidays the Jonas Brothers Were Spotted Around Rhinebeck.

Paul Rudd is also a co-owner of a candy shop in the village known as Samuel's Sweet Shop. In addition to Rudd, the quaint shop on East Market Street, is owned by actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his wife, actress Hilarie Burton Morgan.
