The Snow Is Coming … This Weekend

Wasn't it just 83 degrees out a couple of days ago?

Despite the fact that we just had a record breaking high temperature for October mere days ago the inevitable dreaded "S" word is coming ... this weekend!

Well, at least in the Adirondacks. According to the Times Union the National Weather Service is predicting

A light powder will fall near mountain peaks between Friday and Saturday.

Now, I'm no meteorologist but it doesn't take one to know that weather we like it or not winter is on it's way. While we may have some time before temperatures drop drastically and the snow starts falling around these parts, this weekend might be a good time to start digging out all that winter wear we have had packed away for those few glorious summer months.

I don't know about you but I'M NOT READY!! I think I'm going to try to rock a jeans and a hoodie with sandals as long as I can! Pray for my toes.
