The Used To Unleash New Album ‘Imaginary Enemy’
The Used have completed their sixth studio album and will release 'Imaginary Enemy' on April 1. The disc follows on the heels of their Top 10 2012 disc 'Vulnerable.'
The group is ramping up the political content on their new disc. Frontman Bert McCracken says, "We the people, in order to form a more perfect planet, must question the way the world works -- and where the world is heading. Some view art as a way of escaping reality; others view art as a mirror reflecting our sometimes sad society; we believe art can be a weapon, used to shape the very world we live in. The Used in proud to present to you, 'Imaginary Enemy.'"
The disc is currently available for pre-order in a variety of options. Fans can get the album with a number of add-ons, including special red and black splatter vinyl, with an album cover screen-printed poster, with an album cover t-shirt and with a pack of five The Used condoms. Check the various pre-order options here.
The Used currently have dates in Thailand and at the South by So What and Extreme Thing Music Festival scheduled for March, but expect more shows to be added as their album release nears.
