So, in my opinion, the best thing about yard sales is that you could find literally anything there. As long as you take the time to search, you could find some serious treasures. So put on your treasure hunting hat, because it's about that time again.

You really have to keep your eyes open when you find yourself at a yard sale. Everyone is there to try to find useful or cool things. The trick is being the first person to find them. Sometimes you can find things at yard sales that are being sold for cheap that are actually worth quite a pretty penny. There have been many stories of people finding artwork or records that were actually worth a crazy amount of money. The people selling them just didn't have any idea what they had.

You can also find some stuff at a yard sale that will make you feel like a kid on Christmas morning again.

Lots of people will be selling gaming consoles, movies, CD's, cards. Pretty much everything that's cool to collect, you'll most likely be able to find. People end up finding things from their childhood that had a lot of memories and sentimental value that maybe they had lost at some point, and can now relive those memories again, and at a reasonable price too. This man found a box full of nostalgic action figures that date from the early 2000's back to the early 1980's for just 4 dollars, which meant a lot to him and could also be given to his kids so they can create memories with those things too.

And these are just the kind of things people have found at regular yard sales in front of houses. Imagine your chances of finding some real treasure at the World's Largest Yard Sale this Saturday (August 6th) at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds. With upwards of 200 vendors, I'd hardly even call it a treasure hunt. No matter which way you turn, you're likely to find something awesome.
