West Nile Virus Discovered In New York

Just when you thought it was safe to go outside this summer, the first signs of the West Nile virus have been reported in New York.

Thankfully no human cases of the virus has been reported so far in 2014, that doesn't mean it isn't a possibility. A mosquito sample taken in Rockford County last came back positive.

The Department of Health people to cover up and use bug repellents when heading outdoors this summer.
