$100,000 for catching a bass?  I am SO in. If you're interested too, well it looks like the 2020 Bassmaster Elite Series is making two stops in Upstate New York.

I just spent a week in the Adirondacks bass fishing (see below), and I'm pretty sure the entire time I joked about being ready to be a 'bassmaster'.  Though in seriousness, me and my spinner bait have nothing on the true fishers out there.  However, I was excited to see the announcement of two stops on the Bassmaster Elite Series in Upstate New York.

According to newyorkupstate.com the series is going to go to 6 states in 2020, and two of the stops are in New York.  The stops are hitting the St. Lawrence River in Waddington in July, and then Plattsburgh and Lake Champlain from the end of July to the beginning of August.  The winner of each tournament in the series wins $100,000, and as it's so prestigious, I'm sure there will be people from all around coming to New York to take part.  This year, we also had some stops of the tournament in New York, and a New York native actually took home on of the top prizes.  So you never know!  If you want more info, head here.
