Last Friday and Saturday, two million Spectrum customers in Upstate New York and New England lost cable service and/or internet service to the weather.

I caught the numbers from newyorkupstate.com, in a post about how Spectrum is actually giving refunds for the outages.  That's right.  Refunds.  I did a double take myself, because frankly outages from weather aren't uncommon and I personally have never experienced a company offer a refund.

The credit isn't automatic, it will be on the next bill according to the post.  And it won't be done automatically.  You actually have to request the refund as well.  If you were hit and want more information, you can head here.
