How You’re Judged by the Alcohol you Bring on Christmas
I always decide to bring some form of booze to my family Christmas party. I also normally bring something the host will like as a gift. This is what your alcohol gift will say about you.
As I was browsing the Inter-webs I found something interesting written on Huffington Post, When you bring alcohol to a Christmas party you must use this as a guide. No matter whether you bring champagne or a cheap sixer you buy at Cumby's, you will be judged.
Champagne is gonna make you look either fancy or desperate all depending on the party. If your going to an office party and your co-workers see you give this to your boss they will judge you and call you a kiss ass. If you bring it to a family get together, they will think you are a show-off. These are both reasons I never bring champagne, also because I'm cheap.
Beer, Unless its a bottle of something fancy or craft beer. Bring it for yourself but don't gift it. The only exception is if your host is an alcoholic and you bring him a 30 of something a step up from what he drinks. If you decide to bring it for yourself, never bring more than a six pack or people will think you're an alcoholic.
These are just some short thoughts by me. Read the harsh judgement of a larger variety of alcohol at the link below. Merry Christmas!
