New York State Police are attempting to identify 2 individuals that allegedly broke into an unoccupied hotel.

On Saturday July 5th, according to a New York State Police press release, at approximately 3am two individuals allegedly forcibly entered the former Trip Hotel Ithaca on Sheraton Drive in Lansing, NY. Once inside, it appears they damaged items within the building.

One person is believed to be a black male who has most of his face covered. He is not wearing a shirt, has dark colored shorts, black socks and light-colored slide sandals. This suspect appears to have noticed the security cameras.

The second person is believed to be a white or Hispanic female who has most of her face covered. She is wearing a black tank top, black shorts and flip flops. She has a large tattoo on her back that appear to be angel wings.

The male can be heard calling out to the woman by the name “Sarah”. It also appears that Sarah might have had a sunburn at the time of this break-in.

As intriguing as exploring an unoccupied building might be, it is still illegal. Especially if you damage the property in any way. Anyone with information is asked to call New York State Police at 607-561-7400. Case NY2500601235.
