Local Reporter Gets Up-Close Video Of Cohoes Bear

The 'Cohoes Bear' is still on the loose and one local reporter has been tracking it's whereabouts all morning.  A Facebook video posted a pretty clear shot of the animal making it's way through a wooded bike path, relatively close to oncoming traffic in Cohoes.

WNYT News Channel 13 reporter John Craig has been mixing his journalistic duties with bear hunting all morning as news broke that yet another bear was spotted in the Capital Region.

A few days ago, a bear was spotted by an Uber driver in Schenectady and this morning, news of another misplaced mammal.  This time, according to Craig, it was last seen along a bike path off Imperial Avenue in Cohoes. Watch for an update on the effort to track the bear Live at Noon on News Channel 13.

As an added safety measure,  the Cohoes School District cancelled all outdoor activities for Wednesday until the animal is safely out of harms way.
