A man in a Michael Myers mask robbed a store in Scotia Sunday night. The suspect is still at large.

According to the Daily Gazette, the man described as having a Hispanic accent and blue eyes, entered the Scotia Citgo station at 184 Sacandaga Rd around 10:30pm Sunday night displaying what appeared to be a handgun. He demanded money and a pack of cigarettes before fleeing the store. The suspect was about 5'10 and along with wearing the Michael Myers mask (made famous by the Halloween movie franchise), he also wore blue pants, a baggy blue hoodie, and gloves. The Scotia Police Department is investigating the armed robbery and is asking anyone with information to call 518-374-3110, ext. 6. Let's hope that this man is found and brought into custody asap.

This robbery comes shortly after the news broke that actress Jamie Lee Curtis will be reprising her role as Laurie Strode in a new Halloween film set to arrive in 2018.
