New York State Police Seek Your Help, Do You Know This Individual?
Every once in a while you and I are faced with moral dilemmas. If you see a friend doing something wrong, do you report it? Would you lie on a resume to get a better job? If you find a $20 dollar bill do you try to find the person that dropped it? It has been said that "you are never wrong doing the right thing".
New York State Police are seeking your help in finding a guy accused of NOT doing the right thing. This individual allegedly stole a wallet from an elderly woman at an Upstate New York grocery store.
On Thursday July 27th, according to a New York State Police Facebook post, the individual pictured below was seen shopping at Weis Markets in Chenango, NY. At one point this suspect was in the frozen food aisle and allegedly stole a wallet right out of an elderly woman's shopping cart. The wallet contained credit cards.
Take a look at the photos below. Does this suspect look familiar? Do you recognize the vehicle he drove away in? The in-store surveillance picture is fairly clear but the individual is wearing sunglasses and a hat.
New York State Police are asking anyone with information to contact Troop C at 607-561-7400 and reference case 11538864. The incident happened at approximately 11:30am on July 27th. Weis Markets is located at 1290 Front Street Binghamton, NY.
The vehicle that this suspect left the scene in is the white, smaller size, SUV. Possibly a Nissan Rouge or similar.
