A Hoosick Falls, NY man could face up to forty years in prison for trafficking 'Donald Trump' heroin from out of state into Vermont.

According to rutlandherald.com, Danny R. Main Jr., 29, of Hoosick Falls, plead not guilty on Monday to the charges in Bennington court to the felony count. Main was stopped in Bennington, VT back in July with 280 bags of heroin labeled "Donald Trump". Hall was with his pregnant wife and three children (all under the age of six) at the time he was stopped. He also denied having drugs on him at the time. His lawyer Frederick Bragdon said that if Main had heroin, it was for personal use and not to be sold. The accusation that Main was moving the heroin across state lines is the reason for the potential penalty of up to forty years, said his lawyer. A bond for Main was set at $10,000 by Judge William Cohen taking into the fact that his criminal history showed several charges of failing to appear in court and violating court-ordered conditions.

The bags were stamped "Donald Trump" in blue ink. Putting stamps of pop culture names on packages is a common trend of drug dealers for branding their drugs. For more on this story click here.
