As reported by News 10 abc, Under Armour has just announced this week a data breach to 'MyFitnessPal' affecting about 150 million users.  For those who aren't familiar, MyFitnessPal is a smartphone App and website aimed at health.  From calorie-counting to exercise-tracking, MyFitnessPal is run by Under Armour, and has been written about in all sorts of health and wellness magazines.  Clearly, it's also used by millions, which are now affected by this data breach.  According to News 10 abc, Under Armour sent notifications to those affected via e-mail or in-app messaging.  And while usernames, e-mail addresses, and passwords were stolen, it is reported that things like payment data and government issues information wasn't stolen.

I don't personally use MyFitnessPal, but I have been a victim multiple times of being hacked and having information stolen.  All I can say is that at least Under Armour is notifying people right away.  Within the past year, I've gotten notifications about data breaches that happened back in 2013 and 2014.  Seriously?!  If my information was stolen that long ago, what am I even supposed to do about it now.  Hopefully you weren't among those affected by this breach, and if you were, head to News 10 abc for more info.
