Taking the 'are they going to rob me?' out of Craigslist.

Have you ever wanted to buy something from Craigslist or Ebay locally that would have required a face to face meeting? That's enough for some people to re-think the transaction immediately.

Police in Cobleskill and Hoosick Falls are allowing residents to use their parking lots as an exchange location for retail transactions set up online, reports News10. Those parking lots are monitored by cameras all the time, and officers are available incase you're still not feeling secure.

I'm a little surprised this practice didn't start sooner, though I'm waiting for the report of someone trying to use this for illegal transactions. You know someone's dumb enough to try it.
