I grew up in a small town of less than 13,000 people. You could put my entire hometown inside Saratoga Performing Arts Center and still have room for another 10,000. When I was a kid I always wanted to live elsewhere. Looking back I realize growing up in a small town was pretty great.

CNBC reports that All Star Home, a home improvement company, recently ranked the best small towns in America. Any and all towns with a population of 100,000 or less were considered partially based on community, safety, affordable living and education. Here's the top 10.
