This video takes place in a northwestern Canadian territory, where temperatures froze to well below -30 degrees. In this experiment, boiling water is pored into a cup and thrown into the air, where it instantly evaporates.

In this one, the Mount Washington Observatory posted their own video involving a frozen bubble. It freezes while it travels through the air and instead of popping, the bubble breaks, as if it were glass.

I know most people hate this weather, but these are pretty awesome experiments that provide a bit of fun and joy, and turn below zero temperatures into a science lab where almost anything is possible.
