LegenDAIRY Mission Complete: 358 Stewarts Shops in 365 Days

Remember the Capital Region family who set out to complete the mission of visiting every Stewart's Shop in 2022? Well, they did it!

After being inspired by an older couple who had visited every Cracker Barrel, Cairo locals Kristin and August Freemann and their son Kody thought it would be fun to do the same but with one of their favorites shops-- Stewarts. They decided that in order for a visit to count, all three of the family members had to step foot inside the establishment and purchase at least one item.

As they ventured from one Stewart's to another, they wanted to try new things, but after about 150 shops, they went back to some of their favorite products like honey barbecue cheese curls and peanut butter chocolate milk (Melissa Manno, Times Union). In a comment on one of their Instagram posts, the family claims that the Stewarts in Amsterdam was one of the most unique as it "kinda looked like a castle". (stewartsshopsorbust2022 via Instagram).

On December 31, 2022, New Years Eve, the Freemanns stepped foot in the original Stewart's Shops location in Ballston Spa, marking off the last of the 358 total locations. There, they were greeted by a plethora of Stewart's employees and Flavor the Cow (Stewarts' mascot). Traveling all around from the border of Canada to Southern Vermont, this local family has truly made history. (Melissa Manno, Times Union). Now that they reached their goal, I wonder what their plans are for 2023.
