Millions Going to Expand Enchanted Forest Water Safari

Enchanted Forest Water Safari- where the fun never stops!  And now it looks like you can have even more fun after a $3 million expansion is completed.

The park, in Old Forge, NY, is going to be adding three new water slides and replacing two old ones according to a post by newyorkupstate.com.  Water Safari, much like the Lake George Great Escape, is a New York summer staple.  So it makes sense that it was granted money by the Empire State Development to help with the $3 million project.

Newyorkupstate.com posted that construction is going to begin this September (which seems way to soon since I still wish it was the beginning of summer).  Equipment like water pumps are going to be updated, and the new slides include a 200-foot speed slide, a 4-lane 300-foot mat slide, and a looping 295-foot slide.  It sounds like a lot to do, but it looks like they are hoping for it all to be done by next summer. Sounds fun!!
