Sara Schaefer and Nikki Glaser — Celeb Crushes
Sara Schaefer and Nikki Glaser are the co-host team responsible for MTV's late night show 'Nikki & Sara Live,' which airs Tuesdays at 11 pm. Comedy babes are our favorite brand of babe.
Their show brings live commentary and celebrity guests to the MTV late night lineup, with pop culture news, celebrity interviews, sketches and street interviews, all taped in and around the famous Time Square MTV studios, which makes us think about TRL. You should watch it, it's really funny and going to save MTV.
Sara Schaefer
Sara Schaefer was born and raised in Richmond, VA, and after a "year of weirdness in New Orleans," she moved to NY to pursue a career in comedy. By day, she worked as a financial analyst at a law firm, and spent her nights writing and doing sketch, improv and standup all over the city. In 2004, she won the ECNY award for Best Host for her stage show, 'Sara Schaefer is Obsessed With You,' and she has since produced several shows at UCB Theatre and The Bell House.
All those long hours are starting to pay off; she won two Emmy's for her work as Head Blogger for 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' was a writer for BestWeekEver.tv and 'Who Wants to Be A Millionaire,' which is possibly the funniest job of all time. She's been on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' 'Best Week Ever,' and all over FX, MTV, E!, and Fuse network.
Nikki Glaser
Nikki Glaser began her standup career at the age of 18, and within two years she was cast on Comedy Central's 'Last Comic Standing.' Her comedic career path to becoming a headliner was documented in the documentary, 'I AM COMIC." Since the film, Nikki has performed on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,' 'CONAN,' and a return to 'Last Comic Standing,' this time as a performer featured on the show. She's also been on several MTV Network shows.
Sara and Nikki also co-host a weekly podcast together, called 'You Had To Be There,' and she is a frequent performer at several clubs around New York, including 'The Comedy Cellar.'
