Halloween has become a holiday that some people like to celebrate all year long. With spooky things all around us these days when it comes to entertainment and decor it's not surprising that people want more Halloween. Now you can finally get that.

After having to postpone the original date die to rain, the Nightmare Market in Schenectady is back on May 24th! This even sounds amazing to me. Vendors, tarot readings, a fire performance and magic? You can count me in for this.

I have to say that Halloween, in recent years, has become a favorite for me. I love the atmosphere and time of year. I also find myself listening to Halloween type music and watching spooky shows and movies more often. Don't you judge that either, we're all allowed to like what we want to like.

Schenectady's Nightmare Market isn't the only place getting into the Halloween season early. Just last week the Double M Haunted Hayride did their halfway to Halloween event where they opened the haunted attraction early and showed a movie as well.

Personally I don't think there should be a time table on this stuff. Let people celebrate when they want to and how they want to. There are so may fun things to do during the various holidays that we should be able to enjoy it whenever we see fit. If you want to put a Christmas tree up in July, go for it! If that makes you happy that's all that matters.
