Shinedown plans to tour behind their new album 'Amaryllis' and will headline the Avalanche Tour to play smaller intimate venues.  The tour will begin March 27th in California on the same day the new album is set to be release and ending April 25th in Baltimore.  Adelita's Way will open with Art of Dying and New Medicine splitting dates.  Click to see tour dates.

Drummer Barry Kerch says  Shinedown hopes to play a healthy dose of "Amaryllis" in concert, and promises there will be "a balance" between new material and songs from the group's three preceding studio albums. He describes "Amaryllis," produced by Rob Cavallo -- who also did "The Sound of Madness" -- as "big, grandiose and as wide as you can possibly make it sound. There are strings and orchestrations and synth beds underneath things. Guitars are everywhere, all sorts of different colors and tones and drums and shakers...It's a really broad, fun to listen to record. If you put on headphone, you'll feel like you're sitting in the middle of it all, and that was the idea."
