Will You Watch The Eclipse? Some Capital Region Residents Say ‘No Thanks’
A once in a lifetime solar eclipse is set to take place today. Will you be watching?
It is not often that you are able to take part it witnessing history. The total solar eclipse that will start this afternoon here in the Capital Region has brought visitors from nearby cities, towns, and states. While Albany isn't in the "path of totality" places close to us are.

I am going to do my best to watch this event take place because it is something that won't happen again until 2044. I don't know about you, but I don't want to wait 20 years to see this type of thing again. Plus the chances of us being in the range of totality is unknown right now.
I decided to ask the audience if they were going to take part and I was surprised at some of the answers.
"Nope cuz it’s not gonna happen" - Jordan
"Preparing for the collapse of the government while y’all bein distracted" - Dave
"I have ADHD so I'll probably forget" - Mike
"Sorry I’ll be at work too busy to care" - Mike
"No" - Tilli
Well there you have it. While some are going to watch others are proud to miss out on this event, similar to not having watched 'Star Wars' or seen an episode of 'Game of Thrones.'
