Yet Another Winter Storm to Hit Capital Region This Week
In like a lion! We’re not quite at Spring yet, but the way the month is going, the Spring is coming in like a lion (and hopefully out like a lamb). According to the News 10 abc Storm Tracker, there’s another Winter Storm Watch posted for Monday evening through Wednesday. It looks like another Nor’Easter is heading to the Northeast, calling for up to 4-8” in the Albany area, and up to 12” of snow in surrounding areas of the Capital District. According to the News 10 abc report, 12” may happen in areas surrounding us such as Bennington, Old Forge, and Cobleskill. The Times Union is saying 3-6” for Albany starting after 8 pm on Monday, and if this storm hits, then it puts 2018 in the top 10 snowiest March months ever.
3-6” or 4-8” is really not a huge difference. Either way, snow is snow, and I’m glad to have a good set of winter tires and a short drive to work. This has been quite the few weeks of storms, and I’m hoping that with all the previous power outages, accidents, and downed trees and such, that we’re past the worst of it and going into Spring soon!
